  The sun is shining outside. There is no doubt anymore; the Winter is behind us.
  It is a beautiful day.
  A perfect day to release my first instrumental album.
  Every day for about 9 months in 2020, I just sat and played the guitar. No songs. No words.
  Steve Cooney’s version of Bridget Cruise started me off. Then on to Iarla O’Lionaird, Peadar O’Riada, Martin Hayes and Denis Cahill, and Cathal Hayden.
  Then I began to write a few; and that led me to some inspiration from many musicians, and in time, the tunes were flowing.
  Thank you to all the guitarists, and all the musicians who have sustained me over the years, especially in 2020.
  This record is a tribute to you.
  Some people don’t like me saying I’m not a great guitar player.
  I say it anyway, because I believe it to be true.
  But I stand on the shoulders of great guitar players, and thank them.
  
  This record was somewhere in my mind for many years.
  It took a Pandemic to release it.
  And here it is, Out of the Blue.
